Research Task 5: diversity and innovation in cities RT5 aims to identify the societal, political, regulatory and institutional conditions under which diversity can be a source of urban and regional competitive advantage in knowledge intensive activities. The analysis is extended beyond standard measures of innovation (e.g. patents) to take account of knowledge creation at large. Regions and cities become the unit of analysis. WHO IS WORKING IN RT5?
